O2 Broking is a Danish based broker approved by Lloyd’s of London to sell insurance and reinsurance solutions in EU.
Our focus is wholesale insurance capacity which is reinsurance to local insurers and insurance capacity for local agents selling on behalf of mainly international insurers.
In addition to this we can assist UK based insurance solutions with sale into EU, as UK based insurers and agents have lost their capability to sell insurance after Brexit.
Our customers are mainly commercial insurance intermediaries and European insurers with the need for insurance capacity.
Some originates from the established insurance environment but some are start-ups in the technology segment or commercial market with a need for insurance products to support or improve portfolio resilience.
We have been established by seasoned broker capacities with many years of experience from the Lloyd’s market, and our main area of expertise is that we know the whole acquisition chain within insurance – from the capital providers to the retail client.
In connection with Brexit we have especially catered for solutions supporting UK based insurance brokers and agents enabling them to continue their business within EU. In addition to this we work with startups in the insurance and fintech area and are able to support their business to create bespoke
O2 broking and agency is privately owned with a long term view on our business. The fact that we are small and have direct personal interest creates a flexible and personal touch to our partnerships.

O2 Broking want to be a well-established wholesale broker in the Scandinavian and European market. We would like the local markets to come to us for the complex solutions and be able to solve it.
Right now O2 Broking is a young company and our short term goals are to add members to our team which will enable us to grow our portfolio and increase diversification within both reinsurance and insurance agency solutions.
The Fintech environment is of great importance to us as we believe that the new developments will not necessarily come from the big and established players in the market. We are therefore also a member of Copenhagen Fintech and wish to develop corporations with the new companies in this segment.
